Applying for Membership

Any person wishing to join the Northern Golf Club [NGC] must apply using the official application form . Candidates need to be proposed and seconded by 2 current financial members of NGC [See: ‘How Can I be nominated if I don’t know any Current NGC Members?’ below]. The application must be accompanied by payment of a $100, non-refundable application fee.

As a general rule new members are offered 6 day membership [Sun – Fri]. Vacancies for 7 day membership are, in the first instance, offered to current 6 day members who wish to upgrade their membership to 7 days. On very rare occasions 7 day membership will be offered to new members, but this will only occur when there are no current 6 day members wishing to upgrade. New members who want 7 day membership but join as 6 day members are automatically placed on a waiting list for 7 day membership.
